Meet Our Founder - Steven Cooper
Steven Cooper has been serving clients in financial services and insurance since 1999, bringing more than 25 years of experience across both global institutions and local communities. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership and advisory roles with some of the world’s largest insurance and financial companies, including The Hartford, AIG, Prudential Financial, SunAmerica Financial Group, and Credit Suisse.
Having seen the inner workings of global insurance companies, Steven understands the strategies they use — and more importantly, how to turn that knowledge into leverage for his clients. By founding Donner Pass Insurance Services, he combined his global expertise with his Sierra Nevada roots to deliver transparent, client‑first solutions for his community.
